See Your Site Free is run by Charlie ("I", "me"), building websites and admin systems for small businesses in Manchester. This page explains what information I collect through this site, what I do with it, and your rights over it.

What I collect

When you fill in an enquiry form on this site (on the homepage or the Systems & Automation page), I collect whatever you type in: your name, business name, email address, and - if you choose to give them - a phone number and a message. Nothing is collected unless you submit a form.

Why I collect it

Only to get back to you about building your free site or system preview, and to arrange showing it to you. I don't use it for anything else, and I don't sell or share it with anyone for marketing purposes.

Where it's stored

Form submissions are processed by Netlify Forms, the hosting provider this site runs on. Netlify stores submissions on my behalf so I can read and reply to them - see Netlify's privacy policy for how they handle that data. I don't use any separate database, CRM, or mailing list tool to store enquiries beyond this.

How long I keep it

I keep enquiry details for as long as it's useful to follow up with you - generally no more than 12 months if we don't end up working together. You can ask me to delete your details at any time (see below).

Cookies

This site does not use tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies. It doesn't run any third-party scripts that set cookies. The only external service this site loads is Google Fonts (for the typefaces used throughout), which does not set cookies or collect personally identifiable information when serving fonts. If that ever changes - for example, if I add analytics in future - this page will be updated first, and a consent banner will be added if legally required.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you can ask to see what I hold about you, ask me to correct or delete it, or ask me to stop using it. To do any of that, email SeeYourSiteFree@gmail.com and I'll sort it promptly. If you're not happy with how I've handled your data, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
